Åse (spelled with the angstrom, called the Nordic A ring) is pronounced “O’ seh” and means God or deity in Old Norse. This well-grown filly is easy to catch and halter, leads, picks up all 4 feet and stands tied with her dam. She is also trained to 3 strand electric perimeter fence as well as single strand grazing fence with frequent paddock moves. Åse is of beautiful draft-type and has a very friendly demeanor. In fact, I believe she thinks people were actually placed on the Earth just to pet her.

*We strive to find the best fit for each of our animals, and do not want anyone to feel rushed to make a purchase. Once committed however, we will ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit of the purchase price of the animal, with the balance due at the time the animal leaves the farm. We will take care of fees associated with the registration transfer, vaccines and coggins/EIA (age appropriate). We do ask that all other health requirements (health certificate, pre-purchase exam or other testing) be done at the expense of the interested party.

*NOTE: presence of white markings: Åse was born with a LR foot (hoof wall) that is completely white. This marking does not prevent registration, nor should it affect health or performance in any way.

“Arkyn,” meaning the ‘Eternal king’s son,’ is halter trained, leads, picks up all 4 feet, allows his scrotal region to be handled (future sheath cleaning), stands tied with his dam and walks along her in harness. He is also trained to 3 strand electric perimeter fence as well as single strand grazing fence that is moved each day. Arkyn has a beautifully balanced conformation with very correct legs and a kind and accepting demeanor. Photos below taken at 3-4 weeks of age.
